Guru Ram Raheem's Messenger of God failed to get sensor board clearance. The sensor board refused to clear MSG- Messenger of God featuring Dera Saccha Sauda Chief Guru Ram Raheem Singh.
The Rockstar Baba's (as addressed by the social media) movie has received a lot of attention in India and abroad. The Censor Board has refused to give the certificate of clearance and has referred the decision to Film Certification Apellate Tribunal (FCAT). The board thinks the movie can hurt relgious centiments and can result into communal violence.
Messenger of God- MSG is the movie which depicts the self styled guru as God. In this movie he is shown performing miracles and curing terminal diseases.He has said during a press conference according to various media reports that “The movie is in the process of screening before the censor board and if the board finds anything objectionable then I can happily remove it”
There has been constant opposition and protest by various sikh organizations against this film and the Home ministry is constantly watching the whole scene.The movie previously was scheduled to hit the screens on January 16 amidst reports that it can intensify communal tension.
